What is the forensic problem at hand? It is easy to imagine a crime scene with glass fragments: a burglar may have broken a glass door, a glass bottle could have been used in an assault, or a domestic disturbance may involve throwing something through a window.
I have started a CRAN task view for Forensic Science. The CTV is available on my Github page. I welcome any feedback, additions, and pull requests.

Update: June 20, 2020: The API appears to have changed structure, so this code no longer functions. The RPublica app has not been updated since 2017-10-10. All code chunks are not run.
This Mother’s Day weekend, I traveled home to Chicago to attend ProPublica’s Vital Signs Hackathon and surprise my mom for Sunday dinner. This was my first hackathon experience, and I learned a lot.
Update 04-02-2017: See the awesome package ggtech for a Facebook theme and many others.
